Chocolate Chunk Blondies
Measurments:
3/4 cup butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
2 tsp vanilla
1 tbsp molasses (optional)
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 tbsp corn starch (optional)
1 chopped bar of chocolate (or 1 cup of chocolate chips)
Step By Step
-
Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Beat room temperature butter until it turns an off-white color. (2-3 minutes)
-
Step 2
Add brown sugar and white sugar to your butter and mix until well incorporated (2 minutes).
-
Step 3
Add egg.
Add vanilla and molasses.
-
Step 4
Add your dry ingredients (corn starch, flour, baking soda, and baking powder).
Add in chocolate chunks (or chips if you don’t have a chocolate bar) (I used a semi-sweet chocolate bar).
-
Step 5
Put dough in a 9x9 parchment paper lined pan. Make sure to butter the pan so the parchment paper can stick! (I also clip down the sides with black binder clips but that is not necessary)
Bake at 350 degrees for 17-19 minutes. (time may differ for certain oven) (remove when the top becomes a light golden brown).
-
Step 6
Remove the blondie from the pan before cutting with a large knife. (Make sure to wipe the knife before cutting again to get perfect blondies!)
Add flakey sea salt for finishing touches and your done!
You can store these at room temperature for up to 10 days or in fridge for up to 12 days!
