Homemade Cookie Dough Ice-cream

Ingredients
 
 

Ice-cream
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 4 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 scoop edible cookie dough

Method
 

Step 1: Combine base
  1. Pour the heavy cream, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt into a jar or a large bowl.
Step 2: Whip
  1. Shake the jar vigorously, or whisk with a hand mixer, for 2–3 minutes until the mixture has doubled in size and becomes light and fluffy.
Step 3: Add cookie dough
  1. Crumble the edible cookie dough into the whipped mixture. Shake the jar again or gently fold in with a spatula until the cookie pieces are evenly distributed.
  2. If using a bowl, transfer the mixture into a pint-sized freezer-safe container.
Step 4: Freeze
  1. Place the jar or container in the freezer for 2–3 hours, until it reaches a soft-serve ice cream texture.
Step 5: Serve & store
  1. Enjoy immediately, or store in the freezer for up to two weeks.
