Make Them Your Own
The best part about these Valentine’s Rice Krispie Treats? You can customize them however you like! Swap out the M&Ms for any candy, add sprinkles, drizzle chocolate or caramel on top, or even fold in dried fruits or nuts. Want a rainbow twist instead of just pink and reds? Go for it! These treats are a blank canvas for creativity, so you can make them perfectly suited to your taste and maybe sneak a few extra bites while you’re at it!

Even if Valentines Day isn’t usually your thing, these Rice Krispie treats might just win you over. There’s something about sweet, crispy, marshmallow-y bites loaded with colorful candies that makes the holiday feel playful and fun instead of serious. No pressure, no sappy stuff, just a really good treat that happens to be festive. Think of them as an excuse to mix, squish, and enjoy something sweet, whether you’re celebrating love, friendship, or just your love for dessert!

Why I Measure in Grams (and You Might Want To, Too)
If youโve ever made the same recipe twice and gotten two totally different results, the measuring method is often the reason.
Professional bakeries almost always measure by weight, not volume. Measuring cups leave room for inconsistencyโespecially with ingredients that pack differently depending on how you scoop or pour them. A scale removes all of that guesswork.
One of the biggest offenders is sugar. Different sugars (and even the same sugar measured by different people) can vary wildly in volume, but 100 grams is always 100 grams. Measuring by weight gives you repeatable, bakery-consistent results and cuts down on extra dishes at the same time.
A food scale is one of the best (and most affordable) investments you can make for your kitchen if you love baking and want your recipes to turn out exactly the same every time.
