(Recipe in grams below!)

Cookie Dough Fudge

  • 1/2 cup butter

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour

  • 2 & 1/2 cups white chocolate

  • 1 can condensed milk (14 oz)

  • 10 Oreos (crushed)

Why measure in grams?

If you ask any bakery how they measure, most will say they measure in grams. Measuring by weight is more reliable for desserts because some recipes don’t specify if you should pack your ingredients and do not take into account how different people measure their ingredients.

A common mistake people make in measuring ingredients is when measuring brown sugar. Brown sugar is clumpier than normal sugar because it is mixed with molasses. 100 grams of white sugar is equivalent to 100 grams of packed brown sugar—though most people don’t pack their brown sugar the same way, so you will most likely not get the same measurement unless using a scale.

Food scales are such an amazing and cheap investment to make for your kitchen because they will allow you to copy recipes perfectly because they are far more reliable and allow you to not use as many dishes! Click here to order a food scale!

Measurements In Grams:

Cookie Dough Fudge

  • 113 grams butter

  • 150 grams granulated sugar

  • 2 grams vanilla extract

  • 120 grams All-Purpose Flour

  • 425 grams white chocolate

  • 1 can condensed milk (14 oz)

  • 10 Oreos (crushed)

Kitchen Equipment

  • Stand mixer with paddle attachment OR medium sized bowl with whisk and rubber spatula

  • 8’x8’ square pan

  • parchment paper

Instructions:

  • Step 1

  • Mix butter, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract for 1-2 minutes until some air has been incorporated.

  • Step 2

  • Add flour to heat safe plate/bowl and microwave for 60-90 seconds (this kills the harmful bacteria that may potentially be in the raw flour).

  • Step 3

  • In a separate bowl, heat up a can of condensed milk for two minutes and then pour chopped chocolate into bowl. Let this sit for two minutes to allow the chocolate to begin melting. Then mix until chocolate is fully combined.

  • Step 4

  • Pour fudge over your cookie dough and mix until fully combined.

  • Step 5

  • Lastly, crush your Oreos and then mix into fudge.

  • Pour this into an 8’x8’ square pan lined with parchment paper.

  • Step 6

  • Then let fudge bars chill for 2-3 hours before cutting 4x4.

  • Step 7

  • Eat fresh or store in a chilled environment for up to 8 days!
