3-Ingredient Blueberry Syrup

Iced Blueberry Pancake Latte

Syrup

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 1/2 cup water

  • 1/2 cup frozen/fresh blueberries

This can be made as a hot latte too! :)


The Casabrew is my go-to espresso machine because it is cheap (compared to others) and small, so it fits in every crevice of your kitchen!

I also have the Ultima Cosa espresso machine from Walmart (shown in this picture). Though the wand is not as strong as the Casabrew and it is a bit larger due to the built-in grinder.

 

Measurements (Grams):

Syrup

  • 100 grams granulated sugar

  • 118 grams water

  • 95 grams frozen/fresh blueberries


Instructions

Step 1

  • In a small saucepan, mix together granulated sugar and water over medium-low heat, until sugar is fully dissolved (2-3 minutes).

Step 2

  • Pour blueberries into the sugar-water mixture, and continue mixing on medium-low heat for 7-8 minutes.

Step 3

  • Pour mixture into cheesecloth or sifter to get rid of unwanted chunks.

  • Let cool and enjoy in coffees and other drinks!
