Pistachio Mocha Latte

(no granulated sugar added)

Latte

  • double-shot of espresso

  • 1 tbsp chocolate syrup

  • 2 tbsp pistachio syrup

  • 2/3 cup milk (whole, almond, oat, etc)

  • 1 tbsp creamer (whole, almond, oat, etc)

Double-Shot of Espresso

(with Espresso-Machine)

  • 16 grams coffee beans (double-shot)

(without Espresso-Machine)

  • instant espresso (amount depends on packaging’s instructions)

  • 1/4 cup water

This can be made as a hot latte too! :)


The Casabrew is my go-to espresso machine because it is cheap (compared to others) and small, so it fits in every crevice of your kitchen!

I also have the Ultima Cosa espresso machine from Walmart (shown in this picture). Though the wand is not as strong as the Casabrew and it is a bit larger due to the built-in grinder.

 

Measurements (Grams):

Latte

  • double-shot of espresso

  • 15 grams chocolate syrup

  • 30 grams pistachio syrup

  • 160 grams milk (whole, almond, oat, etc)

  • 15 grams creamer (whole, almond, oat, etc)

Double-Shot

(with Espresso-Machine)

  • 16 grams coffee beans (double-shot)

(without Espresso-Machine)

  • instant espresso (amount depends on packaging’s instructions)

  • 60 grams water



Instructions

Step 1

  • Using a milk frother, froth your milk, creamer, and pistachio syrup together until desired consistency (1-2 minutes).

Step 2

  • Take a 16 oz cup and drizzle a pistachio syrup along the inner sides (this is optional).

  • Add your ice into cup.

Step 3

  • Prepare double-shot of espresso:

    • With espresso machine: add chocolate syrup to the bottom of your espresso cup and then prepare a normal double shot over the syrup.

    • Without espresso machine: prepare an instant shot of espresso (2x) according to packaging. With a double-shot it should come out to around 1/4 a cup of espresso. Once shot is made, add chocolate syrup and mix it in until combined.

Step 4

  • Add chocolate espresso into your cup, over your ice.

  • Add fluffed pistachio milk over the espresso and you are done!

Step 5

  • I then love to add my favorite glass straws and extra syrup drizzle!
