The Best Basil Pesto
Measurements:
1 clove garlic
pinch of salt
pinch of black pepper
1/2 cup fresh basil
2 tbsp parmesan cheese
1 tsp lemon juice
2 tbsp olive oil
Measurements in Grams:
1 clove garlic
pinch of salt
pinch of black pepper
12 grams fresh basil
30 grams parmesan cheese
5 grams lemon juice
30 grams olive oil
Instructions
Step 1
In a food processor or using a mortar and pestle, crush garlic, salt, black pepper, and fresh basil together.
Step 2
Once basil is crushed very finely, add parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and olive oil. Mix until everything is well combined.
Step 3
Enjoy fresh or store in fridge for up to a month!
